- The successor to Windows XP
- Microsoft’s fastest, most reliable and efficient operating system to date (together with Windows 7)
- Offers quicker application start-up, built-in diagnostics, automatic recovery, improved security, new interface, easier navigation and enhanced searching and organizing capabilities.
- Available in several editions, which are grouped in three general categories: Basic, Premium and Ultimate – each designed for a different level of user.
- All editions include a firewall, parental controls, search capability, a photo library, movie maker, media center functionality, DVD authoring, HDTV support, wireless networking automatic configuration, and Tablet PC support.
- System requirement: computer should have more than 512MB of RAM.
